A timeline traces the history of an item in the archive.
It's a line that extends from an item in the item browser through the layers in the layer browser. Each tick mark indicates a layer where a new version of the item was captured.
There are three kinds of marks:
An item is defined by its name. If you delete an item and later create a new item with the same name, QRecall treats it as a single item with a single timeline.
This may cause the timeline to have a gap (dashed line) in the layers during the period when that item did not exist.
The rewind command lets you navigate the timeline of an item (or items).
You can elect to show or hide timelines using the
➤ command.
