A quanta is a single block of captured file data.
QRecall never stores the same quanta more than once in an archive. If an item contains a block of data that occurs in any other item—including a previous version of the same item—that quanta is added only once and is shared by those items.
In addition to being able to find duplicate quanta, QRecall also has the ability to search for “shifted” quanta. That is, quanta that occurs at a different relative offset in another file.
